Withy Lane in Oakhill was one of the last roads to be cleared of a fallen tree by tree crews following Storm Arwen.

According to Highways, the tree clearance crew worked all Monday (November 29) clearing fallen trees on 85 Somerset roads.

As a result of the storm the crews had 88 call-outs across the county - the most they had in one day for seven years. All but three were fallen trees.

The last three roads cleared today (November 29) were Bull Horn Drove close to junction with the A372, near Bridgwater, Highcroft Lane in Gurney Slade and Withy Lane, in Oakhill.
