Midsomer Somer Valley FM has welcomed the expansion saying it is vital

Bath-based Truespeed has amplified the rollout of its full fibre broadband with an £8 million investment across five additional South West areas. In parallel to adding the brand new areas of Peasedown St John and Midsomer Norton to its remit, Truespeed is dramatically expanding its existing network in Radstock, Keynsham and Saltford.

The multi-million pound investment from the South West based company is set to benefit in excess of 9,500 properties. With its dedicated full fibre technology, homes and businesses can reap the benefits of ultra-reliable connectivity that delivers guaranteed speeds of up to 900Mbps and allows multiple devices to be used simultaneously without a drop in service. Coupled with its symmetrical upload and download speeds, Truespeed's 10Gbps capable network gives customers peace of mind all their broadband needs are taken care of.

Truespeed offers not only guaranteed speed connectivity, but the added benefits of frozen prices until May 2023 and a 30-day money back guarantee so customers can experience the ultrafast service without worry. Building and planning works are already well underway and Truespeed's engineers can be spotted delivering the ultrafast infrastructure in their signature low key building style across all five areas.

Customers in Peasedown St John, Saltford and Keynsham can expect to be connected in mid-summer, followed closely by Radstock and Midsomer Norton going live by late summer.

CEO of Truespeed James Lowther, said : "We're pleased to be expanding our existing network in Radstock, Keynsham and Saltford so more people can benefit from Truespeed's ultra-reliable, full fibre connectivity. Expanding into new areas including Peasedown St John and Midsomer Norton will provide homes and businesses with greater access to ultrafast broadband that is essential in everyday life. Truespeed is working hard to provide an exceptional broadband experience for all our customers and improve connectivity throughout the region."

Station Manager for Somer Valley FM Richard Burgess, said "As the local community radio station for the Somer Valley, it's fantastic that a local organisation like Truespeed, a community-focused provider, will be investing in our region. There are exciting regeneration and development plans for the local area that could benefit from Truespeed, and with 14 hours of new and fresh shows daily alongside record online listening numbers, it's vital for us too.

"Several of our shows and content are provided remotely and our existing broadband network struggles to cope, so Truespeed bringing much-needed connectivity to our homes and businesses here in the Somer Valley is crucial."

Thanks to its people-first ethos that connects schools and community hubs passed by its network to free broadband for life, unparalleled customer service and cutting-edge technology, Truespeed is bringing the South West truly better broadband.
