Midsomer Norton Town Council gets back to business tonight (September 4) with a council meeting at which one of the items listed on the agenda, the possibility of more public conveniences in the town.

This is sure to create some debate, with the Town Hall itself, which had toilets close to the main doors, still out of action due to on-going renovations. That closed in September 2022.

The item is : Proposal on whether to investigate the potential location, cost and feasibility of installing Public Toilets within Midsomer Norton

There is also going to be a discussion about quotes for installing the 2023 Christmas Tree in Midsomer Norton, and other seasonal events, along with an update on progress on the Town Hall work. In case you missed it, there is also a chance for the public to go into the Town Hall as part of the heritage days events around the town.

Saturday 16 September: 1100-1500. Town Hall tours at 1200 and 1400.

The council meeting will be held on MONDAY 4TH SEPTEMBER at 7.00pm in the Council Chambers, The Hollies, on the High Street.
