Events coming up in Midsomer Norton

On Friday - a rare Friday night music offering at the wonderful - and FREE - Mardons Social Club.

Prepare to be thrilled with the Thrillionaires, coming across the bridge to perform. Formed in January 2017, band members include a former professional rugby player - well they do come from Wales.

Then on Saturday, the first outing for the creative plans to revive Midsomer Norton High Street which starts today (February 10) with the first Midsomer Norton Window Wanderland.

On Saturday the centuries-old wassailing tradition will return to Midsomer. This ceremony involves crowning Wassail Kings and Queens, joining in with a traditional toast and 'waking up' the apple trees for the year's harvest.

Official proceedings will commence at 1pm in the Assembly Room at the Town Hall with a short introduction from Master of Ceremonies, Colin Emmett. The gathering will be led in procession to the Town Park

Sunday : Get rocking

A special Sunday session over in Temple Cloud and you can enjoy a classic vegetarian roast or steak & ale pie on offer in the Vegan Cafe. PLUS music from Rockaway resident DJ's on rotation Ray Mighty, DJ Specifik, Busta and Chris Cross.
