They do say that April is the cruellest month, well it certainly seems to be weather wise.

This was what fell from the sky today (April 12) in Midsomer Norton. Rain was forecast but not this, hail stones and not just a handful. As you can see they are pretty major in terms of size too.

The good news is that the weather outlook for Midsomer is clearing skies, but it is staying windy. But then rain, according to the Met Office, returning at the weekend, before it gets much milder.

The Met Office forecast for Midsomer : On Friday, thick cloud and spells of heavy rain will sweep in from the west. Further outbreaks of rain will arrive in the evening, these clearing overnight. Saturday will have sunny spells, variable cloud and just the odd isolated light shower. Sunday will be a dry day with cloud breaking to reveal spells of sunshine. It will turn milder
