Midsomer Norton will be basking in sunshine, initially at least, this coming weekend, so what better time to get out and about at one of the many local events happening.

On Saturday: Up the road in Westbury, this classic show. Trucks, cars, motorcycles and stationary engines on show. There will be ring activities, live music, bars and food. The show is supporting Children's Hospice South West, More details HERE

And on Sunday it is Father's Day. So why not treat your dad to an early present trip on the local steam train?

The heritage station in Midsomer Norton is running steam specials, but even if you don't want a ticket to ride, there is a great bookshop, lovely café and a really wonderful station shop selling lots of local gifts. All aboard. But only in the morning £5 for adults and £2-50 for children.
