And so another week passes. Not much sign yet of any significant abatement of 'Rona,' and a good few weeks, seemingly until we can collectively come up for air. At least the shops and supermarkets seem to have organised themselves and we can generally purchase what we need.

Our thoughts turn in these troubled times to those who are finding it difficult to make ends meet; not that there is much to buy but we all need to eat. Local Lloyds pharmacies confirm their new hours. St Chad's( BA3 2UH) is open from Mon-Fri 09:00-18:00 and Sat 09:00-12:00. The High Street branch (BA3 2DD) is open from Mon-Fri 09:30-17:00 and Sat 09:30-16:30. The stores are also closed for lunch from 1pm to 2pm.
