The award-winning Radstock mining museum has officially opened a new Veterans Support Cafe hosted by the Midsomer Norton and Radstock Royal British Legion.
The new cafe was officially launched with representatives of the RBL and from SSAFA present.Midsomer Norton and Radstock Royal British Legion have officially opened a new Veterans Support Cafe at the Somerset Coalfield Life museum.
It is an opportunity for local veterans and their families to meet twice per month with support from local RBL members.

The scaffolding around the iconic Radstock wheel, alongside the mining museum, came adrift last night.
As this photo taken by local resident Rob Opie at midnight last night (March 12) shows, the scaffolding, put in place to renovate the wheel, came away in dramatic fashion.
