Bath's clean air plans in doubt?

Fears for the delivery of Bath's clean air zone, if Government does not stump up the cash have been expressed by a local councillor.

Bath and North East Somerset Council has so far only secured a quarter of the £24 million capital cost to set up the scheme and no guarantees about the rest.

It was an ambition of Emma's for many years

She was formerly a registered nurse, but Emma Ramsden knew when she heard that the local Green shop might be up for sale that this was something special.

She took ownership of the shop in May 2017, and it was quite a legacy; the shop, one of the first green stores, had been in the same location for over 12 years, but in Midsomer Norton for a total of at least 20 years.

Midsomer Norton residents are being asked to make their views known in regards of Bath and North East Council's future priorities, spending plans and Corporate Strategy at the Somer Valley Area Forum.

Cabinet members and the council's chief executive will host a public meeting at The Hollies Council Chamber, High Street, Midsomer Norton BA3 2DP on Wednesday 22nd January at 6.30pm.
