More than 2,000 queries and complaints were made by Bath and North East Somerset's residents and businesses about potholes and damaged road surfaces during 2018, according to new Freedom of Information figures gathered by the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB).  

The FSB's national report revealed that local authorities across the country receive a query about sorting out a road issue every 46 seconds and also showed that the South West had the fourth largest amount of issues raised of any region in the country.

Residents in Midsomer Norton can pick up reward vouchers to spend in high street stores as part of a new scheme to encourage recycling of small electrical items.

Bath and North East Somerset Council is working in partnership with BetterPoints to reward residents for clearing out their homes of small electronic and electrical items and recycling them.
