A win worth the wait?

Welton Rovers football club who won promotion on Saturday and the emotions are clear to see from the immediate after moments of the match.

Fantastic photos here from Lee Curtis from Saturday's promotion winning 1-0 victory v Warminster Town.

The team - the army - are now back to the Toolstation Western League Premier Division, having last played in that division in the 2015/16 season.

It has been a bumper year for the club, with its average attendance the highest it has been for over 35 years. While Manager Tom Smith is a Midsomer Norton boy, so he could not be prouder.

Congratulations to the Green Army.
