Running round up - and Somer Athletic Club have picked up the pace - all over the UK - and further afield.

The Club posted :

Pride of place is split between Somer Junior Roxy, running in the Gloucester XC league in Cirencester, whilst Lillie has gone stateside to run the New York City Marathon.

That's not to overlook a load of other fabulous performances. The @weltonbaptistchurch Town Park 5km had six Somer runners with an impressive 1-2-3 headed by @torsteratcliffe.

Sunday saw us all over the place. @sharon_dorling shaved four mins off her existing time for the Richard Burton 10k in Pontryhdyfen near Port Talbot. Four of our athletes rocking the @bidefordaac 10 miler along the River Torridge.

Nearer home, we had eight runners in the ever brilliant @avonvalleyrunners Over the Hills event, although recent rains meant the river crossing was off limits.
