A local derby precedes an evening of live music from local favourites in an entertainment packed day at Norton Down this Saturday 19th August.

With the new season just around the corner, Midsomer Norton will start the afternoon off with a preseason fixture against local rivals Frome with kick off at 2.30pm. The match will be the first time Norton have played at home since their epic semi-final win over the University of Bath back in April.

Following the match an afternoon of entertainment is in store with performances outdoors on the Norton Down Playing Fields. Music starts around 6.15pm with rock 'n' roll blues band Spitroast. This will be followed by the triumphant return of Truth & The Happy Endings at 7.30pm before the fantastic Avalon Highway at around 8.45pm.

As well as the live entertainment there will be food available from The Roaming Deli, bouncy castles for children, ice cream vans, an outside bar and live sport - including World Cup warm up game England v Ireland - screened inside the clubhouse.
