After a bumper medal Monday last week you might have thought it would be quieter for Somer Athletic Club but no it was a weekend of dragons and monsters being dealt with.

Will ventured to Northern Scotland, checking for Nessie as he did the Loch Ness Marathon in a speedy 3 hrs and 20 mins. As for monsters...well, a few were spotted!

The club also had 16 (yes, sixteen) runners at the Cardiff Half Marathon with great performances. Ash and Sharon recorded personal bests, whilst Kim helped Dani and Claire record their first half marathon times.

The Club said: "Great work all, and brilliant to see our runners helping each other get over the line."
