Blues Brothers, Soul, Motown and Funk Revue Band – Kick The Cat, will be performing at Mardons Social Club on Saturday 27th November.

This promises to be a BIG night ... a BIG band, BIG songs and a BIG performance!

Kick The Cat say, "We don't just play some great songs, but we also put on a show to entertain the crowds – Put on your shades and prepare to party!"

Widely known for their tribute to the Blues Brothers, Kick The Cat are an eight-piece rhythm & blues and soul showband, consisting of Laura (Vocals), Dave (Vocals), Nigel (Keyboards, Vocals), Andy (Guitar, Vocals), Sean (Saxophone), Tim (Trumpet), Stu (Bass) and Jack (Drums)) ... so, expect them to spilling off the tiny stage and sharing the dancefloor with you!

With lively and energetic performances of some amazing tunes, including Everybody Needs Somebody, Gimme Some Lovin, Do You Love Me, Soul Man, Lost In Music, I Feel Good and

Shake A Tail Feather, their set takes in Motown, funk, disco and also spans to a selection of more current chart favourites.

Covering some impressive numbers from the likes of Dusty Springfield, Etta James, Curtis Mayfield, Martha Reeves, Wilson Pickett, Aretha Franklin, The Commodores, The Temptations ... all the greats ... this is a full-on show that's guaranteed to make you want to get up and dance.

With over 20 years experience, Kick The Cat's past clients have included John Lewis, Safeway, NHS, Babcock International, The Webbington Hotel and the Theatre Royal Bath.

Entry is free to all, everybody's welcome, music will begin at 9pm – it'll be dark... and they'll probably be wearing sunglasses!
