Others should be listened to, they should be heard, and their wishes put into action

Hi all, I have lived in Midsomer Norton my entire life, so far, and have seen many changes over the years, but now, as I age, I feel the need to have a say in those changes.

I also feel others should be listened to, they should be heard, and their wishes put into action.

After all, they're paying to live here!

I have fostered, worked in childcare and youth work, as well as in the adult care sector, so like to think I have some knowledge of others' wants and needs.

I enjoy sewing, coin collecting and singing karaoke, amongst an array of other things. I have an eclectic personality and as a result I have friends from all walks of life.

I have spent a lot of my time in and out of hospital as I was diagnosed with Crohns disease in 2002. Public toilets are a big issue for me; one of my first tasks if elected will be addressing the lack of this essential facility in Midsomer Norton.

I am not a politician, and as many know, I am too honest for my own good.

What people may not know, however, is the lengths I will go to to help others.

And that is why I am standing.

For any type of decent future for our children and grandchildren change needs to happen.

Globally! But helping locally is a start.
