Canny businesswoman Emma Mannings is about to open the doors on her new business in Radstock, a welcome boost for the town. She will be selling hemp products right in the heart of Radstock. The clue is in the name, Hempty, with the catchy marketing pun, ' Why run on empty when you can run on Hempty? 'The shop, the first venture of this 47 year old entrepreneur sells organic, vegan and sustainable hemp toiletries. Emma got involved in the alternative world because her children were ill. She explained: " I have three daughters and two have had ME and one with Lyme disease, so I got into alternative treatments. " After working local markets Emma realised that there was a big untapped potential for hemp and cbd along with essential oils and natural products. So now she will have a shop on Fortescue Road opposite the Co-op. Emma said: " I liked the friendliness of the other shop owners and it's a busy vibe." You can find Hempty at 9a Fortescue Road in Radstock.
