'Friday night and the lights are low, looking out for a place to go?' … Well, they'll be playing all the 'right music' at Luckington Carnival Club's latest fundraising event!

The local club has organised a very special ABBA tribute night that is to be held at Mardons Social Club, on Friday, 9th June.

Six-piece, Frome-based band, SOS The Music Of ABBA, will be performing those much-loved hits, everything from Mama Mia and Dancing Queen to Waterloo and Angel Eyes, creating a magical and exciting mix of the Swedish supergroup's mega back catalogue.

Abba songs are known for their musical complexities and intricate vocal harmonies - they aren't easy songs to recreate, but SOS faithfully reproduce the arrangements and iconic sound. Performing a fully live show to generate a terrific party atmosphere, it's a chance to sing-along, dance and generally have a fun night out (if you want to dress in suitable ABBA-style, then feel free!).

Gather your friends together and get lost in the nostalgia to enjoy all the music of this perfect pop band, get set for a 'super' (trouper) night out!

This is a rare closed night for Mardons Social Club, where entry is by advance ticket only. Remaining tickets, priced at £7.50, are on sale from the bar at Mardons while stocks last, unfortunately there can be no reservations and ticket sales are strictly on a first come first served basis.
