Midsomer Norton vets have put out an appeal for a missing gorilla, well their gorilla Charlie.

Silva House on Silver Street in Midsomer want their huge handsome statue back - please

They posted : " If you remember, he has run away before and had all sorts of adventures but some very kind lads brought him home safely . We don't think he has been kidnapped as we haven't received any sort of ransom note for him! He isn't difficult to miss so please can everyone keep your eyes out for him and check your sheds and outbuildings in case he has hidden in there !! He isn't microchipped as no one was tall enough to reach the back of his neck and after the last time he went missing he may or may not be wearing a Fat Sam's wristband instead of a collar !! Let's get Charlie the gorilla home again , no questions asked."
