From Monday Midsomer Town Council is promising an easier way to contact councillors with any issues you want raised with them, and any complaints.

Up until now there were a wide variety of emails used for the public to get in touch with people on the council, from personal emails, to ones attached to where they used to work or live.

The changes, which come into effect on Monday (March 9) are part of an overhaul of the town council web site:www.midsomernortontowncouncil.co.uk.

Now all the town councillors will have a standardised format for emails : their first name, their surname and then the link for the Town Council site which is the at sign, followed by midsomernortontowncouncil.co.uk.

This should make it much easier to contact those who currently sit on the council, and any new people who join, who will also take a standard email address.

The email addresses will be :

John Baker ([email protected])

Lynne Clement ([email protected])

Michael Evans ([email protected])

Sue Graham ([email protected])

Brian Lawrence ([email protected])

Gordon Mackay ([email protected])

Mike Moxham ([email protected])

Steve Plumley ([email protected])

Lynda Robertson ([email protected])

Richard Robertson ([email protected])

Chris Smith ([email protected])
