A rabbit which may have been living around the Co-op store in Radstock for up to a month, has finally been caught.

This rabbit was finally cornered today (March 6) by a pretty fast pair of hands. In fact five pairs of hands.

This cutie was caught by a team of apprentice mechanics from the local Bath College.

Danny Blackman, his friend Josh, Corey, Max and Matt, had headed to the Radco for their lunch break.

Danny said: " We noticed the rabbit looked too clean and friendly to be a wild rabbit. Me and my friends went to go catch it and it simply hopped up in Josh's arms. "

The softies then went and got a box - and then a carrot - just in case - and went off to track down the owner.

Luckily the lady owner has now been found and will be reunited with her bunny later.

Meantime the rabbit has been taken to the animal care unit in Bath College, awaiting the reunion.

The runaway rabbit, if it was the same one, was first reported in the Co-op store over a month ago. But no one was able to catch it.
