Midsomer Nub News has been given the exact precise figures for the number of positive coronavirus cases reported as of yesterday.

After a specific request the Public Health team sent the details to us.

They are notified of all the results from testing across B&NES but we wanted to know specifically about positives over the hyper local area.

As of yesterday (August 27) the team report no recent positives.

Specifically:

For the three Middle Super Output Areas (MSOAs) of 'Midsomer Norton North', 'Midsomer Norton Redfield' and 'Radstock', as at yesterday (27 August), there are no positive cases with a swab date of between 23 and 26 August (subject to change in subsequent days should B&NES be notified of new cases).

- For the Somer Valley area (loosely defined in terms of the six MSOAs below), as at yesterday (27 August), there are no positive cases with a swab date of between 23 and 26 August (subject to change in subsequent days should B&NES be notified of new cases).

Somer Valley: include MSOAs include:

- Midsomer Norton North

- Midsomer Norton Redfield

- Radstock

- Westfield

- High Littleton & Paulton

- Peasedown & Bathavon West
