How you can win your Christmas turkey from a 5* local butchers

Somer Valley Butchers have launched a competition for one lucky local family to win a whole turkey, large enough to feed 8 people, plus 20 pigs in blankets this Christmas.

The family-run butchers, who have received excellent reviews since opening in July, champion high-welfare and sustainable produce, with low food miles.

In fact, the meat is either reared at Knoll Farm, where the butcher's shop is located, or sourced from local suppliers and butchered on-site. "We are trying to keep everything as local as possible", explains Graham, Somer Valley Butchers Manager.

So, what do you have to do for a chance to win your Christmas turkey?

Visit the Somer Valley Farms Facebook page and view the competition post for instructions.

The winner will be selected at random on 16th December. They'll need to collect their prize from Knoll Farm, which is outside of Peasedown St John, on 22nd-24th December. Good luck!
