In Twerton they are looking for a general foreman and an engineer to work on a flood defense scheme project on the River Avon for one of the UK's leading engineering contractors. They are looking for a phone shop manager at Tesco's in Midsomer Norton. It is offering what the company calls a 'competitive salary' along with discounts including 10% ( increasing to 15%) off most purchases at the supermarket. Details on the company job listing site here: the Tesco site

Riverside Recruitment - the local Midsomer Norton recruitment company - is looking for a full time factory cleaner.

Working hours are: Monday to Friday, 6:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 -22:00 (shift rotation is three weeks of early's, one week of late's). Early shifts are paid at: £8.75ph. Late shifts are paid at: £10.32ph (+18% shift enhancement).After a successful 3 month probationary period you would be offered a permanent contract with increased pay: £8.85ph (earlies ) £10.44ph (lates). Location is a factory on the outskirts of Frome.

They are also looking for a number of temporary and permanent full time packing/production roles available working for a food ingredients industry based in Stanton Drew BS39 4 - near Chew Magna. Packing of single serve food ingredients on a production line. Pay is £9 an hour.
