When Nub News asked to sum up what you loved about Radstock in three words, some of our readers struggled to say something positive.

But there is a genuine strong love for the town, with families deeply attached to the history of Radstock and happy to have lived here for generations.

Now a new creative idea, perfect for Valentine's Day, is asking residents of Radstock to tell them where are the places they love the most in the town. Did you fall in love here? Who do you love most in Radstock?

Love Letters to Radstock is an exciting new arts project delivered by Creativity Works, an arts organisation who have been based in the town for more than 30 years.

"We want to hear your stories of why you love Radstock so much, to celebrate the people and places of the town, and to join together to create amazing and lasting public artworks that bring a sense of joy, celebration and civic pride," said Oliver Jones, Director, Creativity Works.

The work will then be turned into letters, which will be posted on larger-than-life envelopes around Radstock, so that people will be able to tour the most-loved locations.

The first workshops are taking place at the Radstock Community Hub and Library on Tuesday 18th February,Love Letter Writing with Ellie Shipman from 11.30 – 15.30 and on Tuesday 25th February,Clay Making for the Angel of Radstock with Alicia Ridley.
