Somer Valley Rediscovered is a partnership project that seeks to improve biodiversity in the Somer Valley and to improve health and wellbeing by improving links between local communities and greenspace. The purpose of this event is to engage with the local community in both the development of the park and its long-term management.

They would like to ideas from the local community for ways to make this an even more welcoming greenspace which is easily accessible, increases its wildlife and biodiversity value and is a space that people can use to benefit their physical and mental health and wellbeing.

Everyone is welcome - come along, bring a picnic, and have your say with free events including a special sing-a-ling.

Founded in 2012 by early years specialist and musician, Willow Harwood, Sing-a-ling brings young children together to make music in an inspiring and encouraging environment.

The sessions are based on the belief that all children are innate musicians. If early childhood includes good quality musical experiences children will reap the rewards throughout their childhood and beyond.

One ticket required per family (Max 15 tickets available). Date June 10.
