Midsomer Norton Farmers Market returns on July 4th

After a long three month break due to the coronavirus Somerset Farmers Markets are really excited to be bringing the market again to Midsomer Norton.

The event will be set up slightly differently to its usual familiar layout this is to ensure that everyone can maintain the necessary social distancing with stalls spread out around Hollies Gardens. We will also limit

the number of customers if needed during busy periods with a safe queuing system.

We've been supported by the B&NES Environmental Officer to ensure that our market will be safe for customers and stallholders

alike and as we are being told it's safer to shop outdoors come and make the most of this alfresco opportunity!

The market itself will be bursting with fresh seasonal produce including plants, flowers and strawberries.

However there will be some changes to the stalls in line with new H&S advice , many traders will now offer contactless payment and baked & fresh goods will be wrapped or behind Perspex sneeze guards and sadly there will be no tasters available for the near future.

As I write this the pubs & restaurants are still closed but we have invited the Incredible Brewer along so you can take your beer home and we have lots of BBQ options from our meat and fish producers.

On a serious note it is more important than ever to keep supporting local farms and food producers and we are proud that we have such a talented range of food producers who greatly appreciate the loyal

support they get from Midsomer Norton customers.

Also many thanks to Thatcher & Hallam Solicitors based in Midsomer Norton for helping to promote the market

The traders coming in July will include:
