Expect a cold surge warns the local - and favoured - weatherman.

According to Kilmersdon weather, it will be sunny and clear in the days, but at night temperatures will drop and locally we might even see a bit of snow.

It is all coming from a feed of air from the Arctic.

Kilmersdown Weather, which you can check out here says make the most of the mild weather until Sunday.

He posted that then : " A cold front will move South over us in response to a strong pressure rise out in the Atlantic. This will open the door to an Arctic feed of air crossing South over us lowering temperatures considerably from recent times. By day through the first half of next week it will be sunny, rather cold and dry but clear skies after dark will mean some sharp frosts developing and possibly some freezing fog patches too towards midweek. "

But that is not all : "Next week a second and more intense cold surge will move down from the North on a cold front which will bring a short spell of rain, sleet or even snow as it passes. In its wake the rest of next week and the second weekend look like being very cold in Northerly winds and snow showers, these principally near East and West coasts but on any disturbances running South in the flow there is a chance of snow elsewhere too. There will be a lot of crisp and sunny days with severe night frosts and a biting wind. "
