AS more and more events are being organised locally Nub News is launching a new weekly round up of what's on in and around Midsomer Norton each weekend.

Every Thursday we will now bring you our top picks of the events in our What's On section for the coming weekend.

On Saturday in the day. Cakes for cancer care. A fundraiser open day at Radstock Fire Station. Click HERE The crew will also be doing demonstrations What a great event.

On Saturday evening, Bring your dancing shoes it is party time at Mardons in Westfield with D State. They bring the party, you just need to dance. For all details click HERE : Entry is FREE to all and everyone is welcome. Music kicks off at 9pm.

And from Sunday another fundraiser. Click HERE for all the details of the lights on the beautiful Christmas tree at Dorothy House, Winsley. This also marks the start of the charity's Light up a Life appeal
