Midsomer Norton library will be open : Here is how it will work
B&NES libraries have updated how they are going to operate under the latest lockdown.
They will be open for returns and for collection of reservations from 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday at the three main libraries including Midsomer Norton.
You can reserve items via the LibrariesWest website or via the LibrariesWest app (free and available for Apple and Android devices).
There is a limit of 10 reservations at any one time per library member to help manage demand.
Email notifications will be sent out to customers when the item is ready to collect A drop-box for returning books will be available at each library entrance. All items returned to a library will be quarantined for 72 hrs before going back into circulation. As a result, any items you return may still show as being on loan to you for at least 72 hrs- Public computers and study areas will remain closed.
- There is a range of free digital resources if you are unable to visit which include eBooks, eAudio, eMagazines, eNewspapers, and eComics. Other online digital information resources are also available.You can access these from home with your library membership card via www.librarieswest.org.uk.
