For over 20 years Jack Barter has been a passionate season ticket holder at Bristol Rovers.
Under normal life during the football season the former teacher looks forward to the fortnightly home games on a Saturday -regardless of the result.
But now with coronavirus that all stopped.
But thanks to the Club they brought some of that joy to his home in Midsomer Norton.
The Bristol Rovers Community Trust came along to his home for a surprise visit along with some essentials as lockdown continues.
The whole family are a GAS family and son James explained: " My dad cares at home for mum 24/7 the rest of the time who sadly has Parkinson's.
"Therefore it's a bit of time for him to relax, enjoy and let out his emotions not to mention enjoy the odd beer and/or a drop of rum."
The community trust at Bristol Rovers were contacted by James' wife Trudi after they wrote to all their devoted fans offering help for any older supporters.
The result - a surprise visit for Jack, who worked most of his professional life at Clutton Primary School - with some essential food parcels.
Seventy seven year old has never stopped loving the Bristol team - one of his proudest moments carrying the Midsomer Norton fan flag at Wembley five years ago.
