Midsomer Norton was back in business today (July 4) if not from early hours from later on today with the re-opening of Mallards at 6 pm tonight.

On hand, the ever positive and welcoming Michelle Noel : " We are getting ready to open up, we have put in all the measuring distances, it is all cleaned, we have all the plastic screens up. There is hand sanitiser all over the place. It is about people being sensible and having common sense."

"Let's be safe enjoy a nice evening.

" It will be nice to see everyone. We might not get that many because it is raining. "

Michelle, who has worked there for six years also works as the local lollipop lady, at St John's.

Michelle has been back in her job as a lollipop lady for the last six weeks. " We are still unsure if we will have to work through or not. Or be put back on holiday. But if I could go down to it for free every day I would. I love all my little jobs."
