At Manor Farm, on Millards Hill, in Welton, (Under application 21/03073/FUL)a retrospective planning application is in for two yurts and timber garden shed on existing decking. The application has been put in under Free Rangers Nursery who state that they have been operating a Forest School Nursery onsite for 10 years. Due to Covid and being requested to remain open during the national lockdowns to care for vulnerable children and frontline workers, we had to use a yurt (a temporary structure requiring no foundation work etc) as a 'bubble' base and then we moved a smaller yurt to allow for a garden shed to be placed on the existing decking."
Another retrospective, at The Paddocks, on Paulto' Hill, in Paulton (reference 21/03530/FUL) they have applied for a change of use of land for tourist use and the positioning of three tourist units.
Over in Temple Cloud the C Of E Vc Primary School, which is on Meadway, (reference 21/03574/FUL) is planning to expand. It wants to build a single storey extension to provide a 45 place nursery on the site. That would mean alterations to the existing building and landscaping works.
