Midsomer Norton entrants sought for new poetry competition - A Poem for Europe

8th Jul 2019 | Local News

A creative response to Brexit through a national poetry competition is seeking entrants from Midsomer Norton.

A Poem For Europe is inviting entrants to write a poem expressing their emotions about Europe and its future as geographical entity - your visits, friends and even living there.

The organisers will be politically neutral with the judging, it is the quality of the poem that counts. There are well known judges (Gillian Clarke and Vanessa Kisuule), and a £500 competition prize.

Find out more on www.apoemforeurope.com. The closing date is 31 July.
