Things are beginning to get back into swing in Radstock Town Centre. This week most of the shops will be open for business and eagerly awaiting your custom!

To help the process along there is a Town Council sponsored activity which involves hunting for Monster Hero characters which are represented by colourful images in various shop windows. These are NFC enabled so older children will be able to find out lots more about these little chaps. To begin with you can find how to take part by clicking on the Town Council website radstock-tc.gov.uk or look at any of the posters displayed in the town. There is a Facebook page as well. The cost is £2 per family which will be donated to NHS charities. It all kicks off on Monday, so happy hunting!

Please note also that Tom Huyton Park will be open from Monday, together with the smaller children's parks around the town. It is important to remember about social distancing both in the shopping streets and the parks. The Government has stipulated at least 1 m apart but for your own safety a safe distance of 2 metres would be desirable. This is going to require a lot of patience and possibly some queueing, but don't let that put you off.

Special thanks to Ms Clutten and her team for organising the Monster Hero Safari. I trust it will bring colour and joy to our residents as they emerge from their unplanned hibernation.
