That's Entertainment - for someone at least - Jacob Rees Mogg MP visits his local Midsomer Norton store

By Susie Watkins 21st Jun 2020

The local MP Jacob Rees Mogg has been shopping in Midsomer Norton - supporting the local shops - with what are believed to be two of his sons.

He posted the photo of himself on Twitter inside The Entertainer toy shop.

Today Father's Day - the father of six could expect some presents and cards - but it seemed like the gift he was buying was more suitable for the younger generation.

Unless of course the North East Somerset MP has a secret hobby?

The shop on the High Street was not open today (June 21) so Nub News was not able to check out what he had bought.

But on the MP's social feed he posted: " It is either another light sabre or a Nerf gun."

But it seems to us that he was in fact buying a toy helicopter - with one suggestion on Twitter from rather embittered follower that it might be a present for Boris Johnson - to save him having to repaint the plane.

Ribbing aside there were also many supportive tweets including one with a positive shout out to The Entertainer: " Great shop. Even stays closed on Sundays so staff can rest and spend time with family. Does some amazing charity works."
