Skin specialist wins three national awards for her positive work in Midsomer Norton
Her passion is to make people feel better about their skin, whatever the problem, and not only is therapist Kay Cooper exceptional, she has now been recognised nationally for her work.
The owner of Positive Skin in Westfield, takes real pride in what she does but does warn that the best solutions to troubling skin issues are not flattery and being superficial.
She is caring and empathetic to all her clients, some of whom have arrived in tears feeling that they alone are suffering from an embarrassing skin issue ( they are NOT she insists), and is driven by a desire to offer the best treatment.
She tackles all types of skin issues from warts to skin tags, broken veins to unwanted hair, with advanced technologies and also gives them a massive mental boost.
Her work, checked and evidenced by research and feedback from clients, has now been recognised with not one but three awards.
Kay, who has been running the clinic for five years is now awarded, from the highly respected, British Hair and Beauty Awards:
- South West Bronze Aesthetic Salon of the Year
- South West Gold Skin Specialist of the Year
- National Skin Specialist of the Year
Kay takes an holistic approach to the skin business telling Nub News that it is about making clients feel better on the inside by solving problems on the outside. She said : " I am of course thrilled about these awards because it's recognition of the hard work and commitment I give to my clients and putting their needs first in everything that I do.
" I want to let everyone know about the services I offer. As some people are amazed that they can have skin tags, warts and other skin blemishes treated. And educating clients on how a good skin care routine can make all the difference to common concerns such as acne, redness and ageing or flaking and dry skin.
" For me they are recognition of the work and care I put into my business. But most of all I hope my clients feel amazing and happy after they have had a course of treatments and got the results they wanted."
Kay who has been in the beauty business for 20 years, specialising in hair removal and skin for the past eight years. Now she hopes to continue helping as many clients as possible with their skin concerns in and around the Somerset area.
