Let the festivities begin with the 2022 Great Western Air Ambulance Charity's (GWAAC) annual comedy night.

Aptly named Heli Laughs, ticket holders will be treated to performances from top Bristol comedians, and comedians from across the UK, including:

Stuart Goldsmith (Compare) — award-winning comic, speaker and host of the Comedians Comedian podcast. Stuart has been a regular at Edinburgh Fringe and appeared on several television shows.

Matt Richardson (Headliner) — multi-award-winning stand-up comedian with TV appearances under his belt, including co-hosting the Xtra Factor (ITV), Never Mind the Buzzcocks (BBC Two), Celebrity Juice (ITV), and I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Now! (ITV2).

Dani Johns — local comedian delivering an energetic mix of storytelling and serious oversharing, described as one of the South West's most promising rising stars.

Priya Hall — Welsh-Indian stand-up comedian, writer and semi-finalist in the BBC New Comedy Awards 2021.

Morgan Rees — comedian, actor and writer boasting a densely packed arsenal of one-liners and hilarious short stories.

Pravanya Pillay — writer and comedian delivering surreal, observational comedy from a unique perspective.

Firuz Osari — local comedian and winner of the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year Award 2022.

New this year — a VIP package

Wrap up your whole evening in advance with GWAAC's VIP ticket — not only will you avoid queuing, but you will also get two welcome drinks on arrival and delicious canapes to stop your stomach rumbling mid-show. You'll also get an interval drink and snacks at the VIP bar.

Your laughs will help save lives as 100% of the proceeds from ticket sales go towards keeping GWAAC's service operational and delivering critical care and pre-hospital emergency medicine to Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, North Somerset, Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire and parts of Wiltshire.

Heli Laughs wouldn't be possible without the support of sponsors VistairEG Carter & Co LtdHeartSafeThe Bush Consultancy  Craddy's and Shane Pomeroy, Project and Commercial Management.
