Bath Record Office is calling on Midsomer Norton residents to help record the extraordinary times we are living through, so that their experiences can be preserved for future generations to see.

People can record how all areas of their lives are being affected by the current situation: family, travel, work, school, exams, shopping, leisure, etc. Everyone can take part, from the youngest to the oldest. A variety of different materials can be submitted: handwritten or electronic diaries, sketches, photographs, videos, and even songs.

Tomorrow would have seen the most dramatic of the Helping Henry charity efforts - a firewalk - which would have gone a long way to reaching the family's target to pay for life-changing surgery.

Then coronavirus came along, and the event, along with so many others had to be cancelled. The charity walk has now been rescheduled for November 20.
