Few local residents will recall a year gone by without Kilmersdon Village Day marking the start of summer. Held on the late May bank holiday of every year,
Kilmerdon residents have celebrated their village by hosting an annual fête, featuring attractions such as local bands, a dog show, craft and cake stalls. Traditionally, the celebration involved villagers creating a scarecrow trail for families and visitors to hunt throughout the day.
