The region's community energy sector has come together with local authorities who have declared a climate emergency to consider their key role in helping to deliver new targets for renewable energy.
Bath & North East Somerset Council hosted more than 90 people from community and public sector organisations at the Wessex Community Energy Network Conference on 5 February at the Guildhall, discussing how to increase the amount of community-owned renewable generation across the Wessex area to help tackle the climate emergency.
The police are hoping to get help from early morning Midsomer Norton commuters who travel into and through Keynsham.
They are appealing for witnesses following a number of indecent exposure incidents in the town.
Last week I wrote too soon about the approaching spring, beguiled perhaps by the snowdrops and crocuses that festoon local gardens. It seems that we are in for further storms before any prolonged temperature improvement sets in.
On the subject of nature notes, I was walking close to Radstock with my collie, Penny. I'm fortunate that she is well behaved, particularly in the field of 'business.'

In the wake of the terrorist attack in Streatham earlier this month, the Government will ask Members of Parliament to debate emergency legislation this week on early releases for those who have committed terror-related crimes.
Wanted man Aaron Clarke has been arrested.
The 28-year-old was found in Stoke Gifford on Monday 10 February.
