They want to identify the barriers that make it difficult for people to get the care they need and to highlight the ways that GP surgeries can make it easier for people to access care.

Healthwatch Somerset is the county's independent health and social care champion. It finds out what matters to local people and makes sure that the public's views are heard and acted on by those providing health and care services in the county.

Radstock man in court : news

Alex Collins, 28, of Milton Road, Radstock, appeared at Bristol Magistrates' Court today charged in connection with an incident on Tuesday (11 February) in which a property on Shakespeare Road in Radstock was burgled and a number of items were stolen including a handbag, bank card, pension card, mobile phone and cash.

No further details have been released by the police media office.
