The community is truly coming together for a little boy from Midsomer Norton, who is being helped by a sausage-roll maker from Mells, and will be supported by the bravest of the brave in Radstock, who are being invited to walk through fire for the seven year old.
Henry Davis, who wins fans with his stellar smile and courage, needs expensive surgery and specialist after care.

The fire service had a busy day yesterday with lots of motorists stranded in their cars in floods. No one was hurt, but with more rain forecast they are warning drivers to be careful.By Susie Watkins

If you are a grassroots community group, grants are available up to the value of £1,500 from The Somerset Fund.
Somerset Community Foundation (SCF) manages the fund and is encouraging applications from smaller groups that run on less than £50,000 per year. The grants will be 'unrestricted', which means they can be used to pay for ongoing running costs. Applications can be made from Monday 6 January, with the deadline for applications, Friday 14 February.
