Carol Curtis, a volunteer driver with Swan Transport based in Radstock, organised a fashion show hosted by M&Co in Midsomer Norton to raise funds for the charity.
The event took place in the store recently and it raised just over £430. The event would not have been possible without the 18 volunteers from the local area who modelled on the night showcasing M&Co's clothes to the delight of the audience.

This week, the climate change activist group known as Extinction Rebellion has taken over many streets and bridges in London, blocking the way with demonstrators and lorries, and causing a certain amount of chaos and disorder.
In 24 hours, more than 320 have been arrested during the mass demonstration, not only targeting Parliament and gluing themselves to vehicles outside Ministries in Whitehall but also singling out locations such as Smithfield Market overnight.

Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for dash cam footage of a road traffic collision that happened just outside of Peasedown St John.
The two vehicle collision happened on the A367 at Dunkerton Hill at about 10.50am on October 2.

Fire appliances from Paulton (Avon FRS) and Wells attended a fire involving a tractor. On arrival crews confirmed the vehicle well alight, and got to work with two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet. Crews put the fire out and confirmed the ignition as accidental. Duty of care was left with the owner who was in attendance.
