Here is some information about a few of the exhibitors:

Working with wire has seen Kate Westcott transfer her designs into 3D form. Using three gauges of wire she creates drawn-like forms, some very intricate and some more simple. Often liking her work to offer a practical use, she has introduced wire forms that work with candles and nightlights. When hung on a wall the fine wire sculpture creates beautiful shadows and those with nightlights cast a warm surrounding light.

Jane Wills has always had a passion for colour, texture and metal with generations of her family working with metal. When she retired she bought her first kiln and her enamel discovery journey began Current work includes jewellery, on both copper and fine silver: earrings, pendants, brooches and cufflinks. She loves enamelling small copper bowls and dishes. It provides a larger space to work with, providing an opportunity to combine colours and effects. She also produces a perennial favourite, enamelled copies of leaves in many colours inspired by autumn.

Print maker Wenda Bartlett continually changes and adapts processes to better depict movement and the dramatic in the natural world. Work varies from etching, lino and vinyl cuts to wood engraving, wood cuts and collagraphs. One of her first lino cuts showing movement was the leaping black cat and that has been used in several pieces of work since, many of a surrealistic nature.

Simon Carder is an amateur photographer with the main focus of his work being on local wildlife. He aims to illustrate the beauty of nature through the truthful representation of his subject matter and increasingly through more abstract and artistic images.
