Where possible, we support a working pattern that suits your lifestyle and helps you reach your ambitions.Position: - Manufacturing Operator (Back-Shift)Location: TemplecombeThe role:Due to demand we're looking for a number of experienced Manufacturing Technicians to join our Maritime Mission Systems business unit in Templecombe.It would be brilliant if you have experience in wiring, soldering and building electrical assemblies, as you'll be performing manufacturing tasks in accordance with appropriate engineering drawings and documents. The hours:You'll be working out of our Templecombe manufacturing site as part of a new shift we're implementing.You will work 9.25 hours a day 4 days a week (Monday to Thursday). The start time is 3:30pm and finish time is 12:45/1:00am in the morning.There is a 15% uplift offered for this shift pattern, across the working hours.What you'll do:
- Produce on time and to quality manufacture of Electrical assemblies
- Escalating blockers and issues to team Leader
- Escalating Health and safety issues to team Leader
- Ensuring 5S standards are met
- Ensuring any quality non-conformances are logged and escalated
- Experience in wiring - but not essential
- Proven experience in building electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies
- Previous soldering experience is ideal
- The ability to interpret a build pack (drawings and wiring diagrams)
- Eligible to obtain full SC clearance at UK eyes only
