Our team is the best in the industry - is it timefor you to join us?The Role:GAP Lifting Hire & Sales offers one of thelargest ranges of lifting equipment and accessories in theindustry. From small shackles and slings to material lifts andaluminium gantries, the division has everything our customers needfor lifting any size of load.Reportingdirectly to the Technical Sales Manager, the Technical SalesRepresentative (TSR) will be responsible for maximising Liftinghire revenue opportunities from existing major account customer andwinning new business. This will include delivering salespresentations to our major account customers at a senior managementlevel and attending depot/customer trade days to promote ourproduct offering. The TSR will also workwith various stakeholders across the GAP Group network includingRegional Sales Managers and their sales teams, to ensure pro-activepromotion of hire opportunities for Lifting equipment within theirexisting customer base. Please note thisposition will be covering between Cardiff, Bristol & Plymouthand so the successful candidate can be based anywhere in between.You will ideally come from a Lifting background however we wouldconsider candidates with any form of solution sales basedexperience (i.e. hoists, powered access, survey or other).

Successful candidates should demonstrate thefollowing:• Significant experience workingin a sales role within the Lifting or Hire industry would bepreferred however we would consider candidates from any salesbackground• A proven track record in exceeding salestargets and generating revenue growth by maximising opportunitiesfrom existing customers and winning new business•Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage withboth internal and external stakeholders at all levels•An effective negotiator and problem solver with the ability to workeffectively under pressure and prioritise workload•Proficient in MS Office packages including Excel and Word, and CRMsystems• Driving Licence(Essential)
