Bath Trampoline Academy, formerly known as Fish Trampoline Club and Fish Gymnastics Club, has launched with a brand new website and also incorporates Burgess Professional Coaching.

Last weekend saw the culmination of the years British Gymnastics Regional Cup Competitions with the British Inter-Regional Finals at the Institute of Sport in Sheffield. Two members of Bath Trampoline Academy, Georgia Bannister and Zac Legge qualified to be selected for the South West Squad in their categories. This outstanding achievement was rewarded with a Silver Medal for Georgia (pictured below), and a very credible 14th place for Zac in a high calibre class, as these are the best trampolinists in their categories across Great Britain.

The Academy is run by Simon Briffett and Petra Burgess, well renowned experienced coaches and currently has a few spaces in their classes and are offering a free trial / drop in session for anyone wanting to have a go to see what they would learn in the sessions.

The brand new website at www.bathtrampolineacademy.co.uk will keep everyone updated with the latest news, trampolining and gymnastics opportunities and clubs that are running in Bath and the surrounding area, as well as competition information.

On Sunday 2nd October, their will be a Sponsored Bounce from 9am - 9pm at Hayesfield Girls School to help raise funds for the club. Anyone is welcome to join in - sponsorship forms are available by emailing your interest to: [email protected]

Anyone who is interested in joining the Bath Trampolining Academy is very welcome to pop along on Wednesday 14th and 21st September between 5pm and 7pm to Hayesfield Girls School for a free trial session.

We look forward to seeing everyone soon as the new term sessions begin and welcome any new members to the Academy.
