Whitehaven Care Home has a vacancy for a Deputy Manager. That is on the Fosseway. As well as being a good communicator the home asks that you have experience of leading a team of carers. Your time will roughly be split 50/50 with care hours and office hours, you will need to work with the care staff to ensure that the residents are receiving the best care possible. On your care hours you will be expected to administer medication so therefore you must be current in meds training. Ideally you will have more than 2 years experience in either Team Leader or Deputy Manager role preferably in a dementia home or at least have experience of working with dementia clients. You must have NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Health and Social Care. You must have the ability to attend meetings with agencies such as CQC, Safeguarding, Social Services and all other supporting agencies including GPs. Nub News has spotted a vacancy for an Office Administrator/Assistant in Midsomer Norton. It is a contract job for 12 months but with a chance of it becoming permanent. Mon • Fri 9am-5pm • 35 hours p/w . You must be reliable and willing to finish the FTC as this position will require necessary training. You will be involved in the day to day duties within a busy office. Administration experience is essential but not to managerial level. You must be polite and professional as this is a customer facing role, also your telephone manner must be impeccable. For more details click HERE

And how about training for such a role ? Bath College has this two week course coming from November 8. It is FREE and you will get a qualification to use to get a job

Then a vacancy for a Marketing & Support Executive in a place which the job lister says is commutable from, Bath, Midsomer Norton, Chew Valley, Shepton Mallet, Frome.
