New Midlands-based Radstock NHS 111 call provider from the end of this year
A company based in East Midlands , DHU Health Care, has been asked to provide NHS 111 services to Bath, North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire patients from the end of the year.
Wiltshire providers Medvivo approached DHU earlier this year. Both organisations have been assessed as 'Outstanding' by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Michelle Reader, Medvivo Chief Operating Officer, said: "We are absolutely delighted that DHU will soon become our NHS 111 partner. Nationally, DHU is held with the utmost regard, and we feel privileged that they have agreed to work with us.
"Quality in NHS 111 delivery is not just about how quickly the call is answered. It's about outcomes, experience, and responsiveness, all the things that set DHU apart. I look forward to working with them and believe that by bringing two 'CQC outstanding' providers together in this way we'll achieve even greater things for our patients across Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire."
Staff will be based in a brand new facility in Derby or the Chesterfield base.Share:
